Product Overview

GV30CEU Description

A compact LTE Cat 1 vehicle tracker with 2G fallback, combining GNSS positioning, driving behaviour monitoring, vehicle security alerts, and BLE accessory connectivity.

Core Purpose

The GV30CEU is a compact LTE Cat 1 tracker designed for reliable reporting of vehicle movement and status. Its small size and internal antennas allow discreet placement, making it suitable for scenarios where visibility must remain minimal. Wide voltage support and GNSS positioning ensure it works across many vehicle types and power systems.

Connectivity

The device uses LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback to maintain communication in regions with mixed network coverage. It sends reports through TCP, UDP, or SMS, so operators can choose the method that fits their systems. Scheduled reporting provides regular updates based on time, distance, or mileage.

Tracking

The internal GNSS receiver supports GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS for accurate positioning in diverse environments. Fast start times (about 1 second hot start, 28 seconds cold start in open sky) help the unit regain its position quickly after power cycles, and sub-2-metre accuracy improves tracking reliability.

Monitoring

Motion detection, geofence alerts, and speed alarms help operators identify unexpected movement or unsafe operation. Driving behaviour monitoring detects harsh acceleration and braking, while crash detection gathers data for later review. Jamming detection and tow alarms strengthen protection when vehicles are parked or unattended.

Power

A 9–90V input range allows installation across passenger, commercial, and heavy-duty vehicles. The IP54 enclosure and −30°C to +70°C operating range support outdoor or semi-exposed use, and a built-in 200mAh backup battery keeps the unit reporting through brief power losses.

Expansion

The GV30CEU includes one ignition input, a configurable analog or negative input, and a latched digital output for remote actions. BLE 5.4 lets it act as a gateway for accessories such as beacons, temperature sensors, and door sensors.
